As a group we have decided now to focus more on the cinematography and the use of the surrounding area to present the narrative. Our main objective within our short film is to show the after math of the post apocalyptic state our main character's mind keeps entering and falling back out of again.We have decided to still use the shot of the decaying apples behind the film title 'When We Wake' but instead of this shot being at the beginning, we are going to use it to conclude the film altogether.
As you can see, using the original black and white image below, I have created the potential ending shot for our short film. The idea of the title fading from black to a light beige, shows the idea of danger and nothingness dominating any chance of a future is represented through the ordering of colours black over the lighter colour (negativity over positivity).
