Filming Location

Throughout the narrative, the short film will be filmed within Castle Community College and Walmer Science College.

All filming will be on Walmer College site. All interviewing scenes will be filmed in the same office either at Walmer. The audience is introduced to each protagonist outside the front entrance of the school whereas, the audience are introduced to the head of Sixth Form in his office.The reason we have chosen to film at this school is because, filming in the school environment gives a greater understanding into the narrative. Moreover, following the codes and conventions of comedy genre film, we wanted to use natural lighting and correct mise-en-scene (school folders, computers, chairs etc.) to make the story even more realistic as if the audience have an insight into something real.
